OUCH! MOTHER FUCKER! SON OF A BITCH! I'll say all of those things for you. Jesus Christ, that looks like it hurts. Say goodbye to your thumb nail. I can't handle hand injuries. They make me sick to my stomach after I hacked a chunk of my thumb off that sent me to the emergency room. Any other blood and gore I can handle but not hand injuries. I'm sorry that happened to you friend!
Thanks. Yeah, my arm went numb and my hand went cold - for the rest of the day. It is shock, I think.
Whenever I smash my nail like that, I heat up a t-pin or little drill bit with a butane torch and burn a hole in the fingernail
This is from 2013, I plan not to smash my shit up like this in 2014. Haha. This is what happens when you trust the wrong person to hold something, and they let it rotate and smash you the fuck up. Punching the hole in it feels so good, instant relief of pressure.
I thought you were joking I once set up a deck chair to fall when somebody (my mum) sat on it. Went in to have my dinner. Forgot about it. Sat on deck chair. Lost six nails. Now THAT hurt. But, still, I will take a rain-check on the drilling...
Haha, I don't bullshit on here. The first time I did that I was probably 10 years old, smashed it with a hammer and couldn't take the pressure pain. The burning sensation is quick, you just get the thing red hot and basically just drop it on. The weight of the pin alone melts the tip right through.
You guys are killing me here. I'm seriously sitting here cringing with my sweatshirt pulled up over my mouth trying not to gag. All of this fingernail injury talk makes my butt pucker. Holy shit.
Geee, thanks. I can't wait I should find pictures of my finger when I cut a chunk off and had to have it cauterized to stop the bleeding. One more reason why my husband does the cooking...
Better that than another part of my body I am, actually, hoping it does not fall off. Yeah, post a PIC
I'm with odon, fuck that shit. I banged my fingernail not too long ago and I just suffered through it. Never had anything bad enough for my nail to fall off though.
That was after the emergency room visit. I cut a chunk off completely. I had it wrapped up when I got to he ER and before they looked at it they were saying something about stitches. I said "I left the other part at home. There is nothing to stitch". Then a bunch of nurses kept coming in to look at it, say ew, then walk out. Finally when 7th or 8th nurse came in I asked if anyone was actually going to help me because it wouldn't quit bleeding. In that picture it wasn't actually bleeding. that was after they burnt it with the cauterizing gun to get it to stop. That's just the inside of my thumb.
