Psychedelic Bump XXIII

That has been my most recent experience with LSD as well, chickening out, haha. Things have changed once I found out how potent it could be.

i tried this combo once at ~150 ug LSD and 19 mg 2cb, dropped at the same time.

it was a pretty strong, good trip. i wrote a trip report on here called "natural fractals: LSD and 2cb" or something like that.

i felt that if i were to repeat this combo i would go for a higher dose of 2cb, and maybe slightly lower on the 2cb.

seemed like the LSD kinda overpowered the 2cb, so by adjusting the dosages i would hope to make 2cb's actions more prevalent, and LSD more "background."

not sure if i'd drop them at the same time again, or if i'd dose the 2cb later like Rivers suggested.

 

right, I'd like for the 2C-B to "fit" inside the duration of LSD. Very excited :O I have bubbles and play-doh and paint and music and questions and an open heart

 

Maybe LSZ's shorter duration would accompany 2cb well. That is, if LSZ is remarkably similar in effects to LSD.

a happy new year to you all I only took one blotter last night because it was quite bitter (cute little Hoffman, much more bitter than any tab I've ever had) so I'm unsure was LSD, but I still had a magical time.

 

All the hoffman tabs I've had were from an extremely reputable SR vendor so I'm pretty certain they were real LSD and the bitter taste was still really bad. I wouldn't assume that they're not real from the taste unless the trip was significantly shorter/longer than it should have been.

but that doesn't mean that someone didn't put an NBOMe on a different sheet of hoffman blotters.

with that said though, i once had some hoffman blotters that were somewhat bitter, but still felt just like LSD. the bitterness was not as extreme as NBOMe bitterness though. if NBOMe is a 10/10, this was maybe a 4/10 whereas a white blotter is 0.5/10

 

Yah copycat tabs are fairly frequent with Ecstasy and in some respects it'd even be easier to do with 'acid' due to blotter art being more economical than buying a pill press.

You have more experience with LSD than I, so I don't necessarily dismiss what you say but I really have yet to experience any sense of bitterness with LSD, even those hits that had artwork. I thought before I had experienced Nbome that perhaps my taste buds simply weren't that attuned to perceive such a small dose of chemical on blotter, but I definitely taste Nbome when I take it and furthermore ALD-52 (another lysergamide) which doesn't have full blown artwork but does have printed labels on it has no noticeable taste.

I do understand the metallic sensation some report from taking LSD but I feel that is more a result of a physical reaction of the lungs dilating or something rather than an acute taste of the chemical, many including Albert Hoffman report the metallic sensation lasting well into the peak and it's also a sensation that's been reported with other chemicals as well. I think that it is possible for our system to sort of condition ourselves to make some of these sensations more acutely perceptible in a type of semi-placebo way perhaps.

On new years day, Lucy managed to rip me a new one.. it was a cosmic realignment that brought me to my knees in tears on the dancefloor.
And then I munched a low dose of mushrooms the next day, just to make me feel like a monkey again. Very pleasant and enjoyable, and further expounded on, and grounded the insights I had from the LSD.

Might write a TR.. but I don't really feel the need to at this point in time. We'll see

 

with some blotters that came from europe (the 2010 hoffmans, and the blue ganeshas), i was able to taste a slight bitterness, especially when i ate 3 of the hoffmans. i asked my friends who had eaten 2 or less, and they didn't taste anything.

maybe i have a really strong sense of taste?

even the white blotters i have right now have some degree of a taste (that's the 0.5 out of 10 rating i gave), but i wouldn't really call it bitter - more just dirty. and not "dirty" acid, dirty like a hippie's hand.

but NBOMe tabs are pretty unmistakably bitter and nasty.

did you mean to say AL-LAD, or have you somehow come across ALD-52?

I mean AL-LAD its printed on the label, only lysgergamide besides LSZ I have located on the grey market.

 

I didn't like lsh and LSZ -- at least not more than LSD, itself, but AL-LAD I am very interested in. A short acting LSD analogue with similar potency and increased peak duration? Sounds like fun to me!

 

300 ugs AL-LAD did not feel substantially shorter in duration than LSD to me. In fact I goofed on this and had a chore planned at the 6-7 hour mark and I was still tripping too hard to drive. AL-LAD seems to have a slow spiraling return back to sobriety not unlike LSD, rather than an abrupt return to baseline.

I enjoy AL-LAD quite a bit so far, It's easy on the body and has a pleasant warmth about it. I also enjoy having consistently substantial doses. I find it more fantasy driven mentally rather then cosmic driven which I'm not sure if to attribute that as something inherent in what the trip elicits or where I'm personally at a psychonaut.

What did you not enjoy about LSZ?

but LSD can be had in "consistently substantial" doses as well - you just gotta stock up when you find it. speaking of which, i wish i had stocked up more when i came across those red stars. my stash is down to three of those.

 

I agree. I had 150mcg and was still going pretty well over 7 hours and had quite a hard time sleeping for about 12 hours afterward. (I fell asleep very easily after that one bitter Hoffman tab we were discussing a bit ago.)

My only experience with AL-LAD felt serious and cosmic, but I was alone and listening to some "serious" cosmic music. I was hoping for silly and cosmic, which I'm sure I could pull off in the right set and setting.

So I dip my finger into the bag and taste it... tasted like synthetic( I washed my mouth out right away with a lot water)
My guess was that he is snorting some aaaamazing shit because from a little dip my whole face was red! but fuck uppers I ate all the hash and went home to sleep. death and rebirth. My third eye has been just flicking open by itself ever since. weird shit but amazing vibes are coming! This is gonna be one fuckin great year!!. PEACE AND LOVE
