Living Off The Land

    I made a post a while ago and my plan has changed in many ways. I do not think it will work out because of many legal issues. Communities are not liked in government.

    My new plan:
    Get group of 50 people. Already have at least 25
    Each person try to save $5,000 before we move out.
    The money will go to tools and food to help build and eat while we get the community built.

    We will be moving out into the mountians in Oregon far from people.
    We feel this is the only way it will work.

    Just a quick type up to let you all know whats going on.

    I make our living off the land.
    it is a daily struggle, esp. the first few years to get set.
    then work at it every day.
    income to buy essentials, firewood, meat, garden, shovel snow, keep things from freezing up....
    the idea sounds romantic, but reality bites.
    50 people? no, thank you!

    glad to hear from u shawn this sounds awesome. so u want us to save up to $5000?
