Having read some comments here, I still cannot understand why so many ladies shave it all off down there. It is really prevalent at nudist clubs. You may feel sexy, and it might make oral sex nicer, but shaved parts look child-like! It does not look sexier to me at all. It's a big turn off because hair gives the genital a character or individuality to me. Shaved parts tend to look alike. Hair is sexy whether it's on a pussy or your head. Bald is not. One woman told me that it began when girls wore very skimpy bikinis, so they started shaving that area...then all of it.
Ban razors of all kinds!!! Shaved does NOT make oral sex better. It makes it more clinical, with less flavor, less scent, less natural chemistry. I'll always take a stray hair or ten in my throat for the intoxicating scent/flavor of my beloved! I wish my woman would never shave any of her body ever again! Legs, pits, pubes, hairy is all good! And I only begrudgingly trim my beard due to her personal preferences. manscaping, WTF!!!
Shaving down there has a few good points: reminds you of what it looked like before you had any & it's a more sensitive area to touch without it. You can shave as much otr as little of it off as you prefer or just trim / shave certain areas of your pubic hair off. I need to shave my scrotum again to. Looks too hairy & I hate it looking like that.
I think I am one of the very few members of a naturist club who is unshaved. I am not entirely sure why the shaved look has become popular: members don't shave their heads I notice. One other interesting fashion is tattoos, that is modern designs, and how many women have tattoos in their pubic area. Genital jewellery is not unknown as well and there is one member with cock piercing and another with a penis tattoo. Of the hippies I know tattoos have become popular but rather the ethnic design. None of my hippie brothers are shaved, but some of the sisters are. I have yet to see a penis tattoo here, but I did happen to see an example from a South American Rainbow Gathering.
It's up to the individual really. In my own humble opinion, I prefer it that a woman keeps her pubic hair. It's more natural, again that's my own opinion.
It's obviously a matter of personal preference. I first shaved mine as I had started developing earlier than my peers & felt out of place until some of them also started growing pubic hair. It wasn't long after that that I first noticed the grey hairs that had started to appear in my hair & beard (aged about 15) were now also starting to appear in my pubes, which is when I started shaving them on a regular basis. Originally it was in the hope that when they grew back, the grey ones wouldn't come through, but I was soon to find that they just increased in number. Originally the shaving may have seemed to be a matter of finding a way out to conceal an inevitability that I didn't want to accept, but it has since developed into a personal preference whereby even if there were no more grey hairs, I would still much prefer to remain smooth. It's also reassuring that in the earlier years, the shaving of one's pubic hairs may have been seen as the strange actions of a pervert, whereas these days it tends be accepted as the norm in men & women alike.
Nice reading that Pine considers shaving as normal. I agree , just normal hygiene. Being clean shaven throughout my entire body except legs and chest , I can clearly state that I have no sexual interst in kids. Never thought about it. Accusing well maintained . properly hygeined folks of pedo might be a guilty reaction.
I prefer to keep myself trim, in all areas. I use clippers on my body and legs to keep control of long straggly hairs and keep my groin and armpits short. I think it looks much better than a big forest of pubic hair
I am completely shaven (down below) and my wife loves it! Once you get the hang of it it's E Z to do every few days or so in the shower.
Rather than just asking, why not try it for yourself? If you don't like it it'll grow fully back within 6 - 8 weeks. To give it a fair trial you should keep it shaved for a few weeks, as the first time you do it the skin can be overly sensitive & subject to itching. Once you re-shave a few times, the itching only occurs when you haven't shaved for a while & in need of a touch-up.
I started shaving a few years ago. Got real tired of hairs getting pulled and have to adjust or sit through it if it's too inappropriate. It took some getting used to it as it was itchy at first, but I quickly adapted. I used to use a #3 or 4 on my clippers but found I liked it shorter. Now I pretty much use a #1 and I shave pretty much everything down there, above KingWilly, the thighs, the boys, everything with a #1. Plus I like the look of being able to see myself rather than a bush surrounding everything.
It seems most of the ladies here are against shaving. It's their opinion - can't say much about that. But my wife and I love the shaved look and shaved feel on each other! Oral sex and 69 position is so much more fun and so much more intimate when the hair is not around. Since the genital area is always locked under two layers of clothing (at least), it will be sweaty and smelly. If you don't wash your genitals before sex everytime, I think oral sex can get really disgusting, specially deep-throating. Lastly, the presence of the pubic hair increases the risk of a lot of skin, urinary and genital infections - especially if there is a little compromise on cleanliness from one partner. Shaving minimises that risk - you shave once, you clean generally for a week or so, till the grass grows taller! We think the masculine and feminine features are sum totals of all features of the body and the personality of the person. They do not come just from the presence or absence of hair from the pubes. Shaved genitals are hygienic, smooth and sexy from both genders.
I have been shaving for many years now and love everything thing about it, the act of shaving as well as the look. My man does it when he is home, otherwise I do it myself using a huge mirror, either way it is a turn on. Occasionally a girlfriend will help out and I groom her too, such a lovely way to spend a coffee morning. It is part of my daily routine and makes me feel clean, young and feminine. Men who shave I find a bit odd, but that's just me.
This. Since when does good hygeine , sporting that total tan , and pleasing your lover costitute pedo?
