no bier vor vier as we are saying here . The couple of days a week that I'm not on here I'm in a region called Franken. Every medium sized or bigger town there that take pride in itself has its own brewery. Usually they have good stuff on the tap. If I'm lucky I get my room booked in a hotel with its own brewery. It's not that bad beeing away from home .

I just came back from doing all my shoulds, groceries, walking the dog. The rest of the day is mine.

There are a lot of things I COULD be doing, and perhaps some things I SHOULD be doing. Then I realize that most of the things a person is expected to do for whatever reason are more often than not pointless. I find myself wasting time sometimes, then I realize that ultimately everything is a waste of time when you really think about it.

Yeah, I use it to rationalize my lack of a life... I guess.

 

I rarely feel like I am wasting time, I find it really comforting if you can think for yourself that you also can conclude what's a waste of time and what's not. After all, it's not nearly always an objective thing to state. Sometimes it's a bit worrying if you see smart people convict other people's activities as a waste of time though. Surely you are aware one man's boredom can be another man's fav pastime (example: collecting stamps) :biggrin:
