I agree with that! France, Germany, Austria, Netherlands and the Scandinavian countries tend to be more favorable places for naturism than Italy for instance. Attitudes in Spain vary from person to person, but Spanish law is way more tolerant than most places in the United States. The UK has always been different from the continent. I can find UK examples where attitudes about naturism tend to be better than in America overall, but not as tolerant as France or Denmark for example.

I hear that the Australian public differs widely on the issue of naturism and differs from state to state. I hope our Australian members will give their firsthand experience.

 

Do you think that attitudes about nudity are the same in the US as in Europe as a whole? Perhaps we should go country by country rather than trying to generalize to an entire continent.

By the way, what do you mean by liberal? I was just talking about naturism.
I have met conservative, moderate, liberal and libertarian naturists.
Is there a link between right wing religious conservatives and hatred of the human body? Seems like it to me, but I have no hard figures and like I said, I have met all kinds of people who don't get upset about social nudity.

If a naturist takes his/her family out for a day at the nude beach and takes photos of the entire family to share with family and friends in a photo scrap book, I have no problem with it.

Without knowing what kind of photos the guy took of those kids, how they were distributed, etc, I have no opinion on the matter. If I learn more, I might take a side.

I'm not doing anything to children. I'm talking about the father who took close up photos of her genitals, then shared them with other men. That's a far cry from family day at the beach.

actually he said he didnt see the pictures and the pictures are not on the article anyway so his opinions do have somewhat of a leg to stand on. a picture is worth a thousand words but it isnt worth 5 words. the judge (and if there is a jury) i think will be able to adequately decide this case, i doubt anyone is going to get away with anything and it is unlikely anyone will be falsely convicted.

Yes, it is standard practice to do background checks.
The checks don't catch everything, but it helps.
New members are greeted warmly, but at nudist camps and resorts, as is true in many other places, trust has to be earned, not handed out blindly.
