Need some non-muslim opinions (No hatred plz)

Women have been covering up since forever. It's changed nothing.
From the first time you're put out into society, women are taught things like covering up, walk in well lit areas, have a friend and all that to prevent rape.

Time for new tactics. In stead of telling your women to do all these things to prevent rape, we need to start raising our boys not to rape, to recognized rape culture and to not participate in it.

It is the Muslim religious teachings that initially condone such treatment of women, then the culture further codified it into secular law, and the end result is that women are still being stoned, beheaded, immolated, etc. simply because they were a victim of sexual assault in 2013.

No matter how loud you scream and how hard you stomp your feet, that is the reality.
Why aren't you worried about that instead of this petty anti-America/Pro-Islam campaign you have started here at HF?
You might actually be able to do something worthwhile if you focused on problems within your own religious community. You stand a better chance of actually effecting some change that way.

It's the fast food and Walmart lights that rot out the brains of Americans that teach them to get guns and go on murderous rampages. Just ask any mother in Afghanistan or Iraq about how often this happens to them.

Do either of you honestly think that this sort of prejudiced bullsh*t is really solving anything? All people, all over the world are capable of horrendous action for the sake of their own enjoyment, or fulfilment. The fact that a Muslim would take the word laid down for him by another man hundreds of years ago, a man who never even had an original thought in his head, and wield it like a modern day sword is sad and truly disgraceful to humanity as a whole. That a couple of guys would grab guns and go shoot up a high school or college or whatever because they can is equally disgraceful and sad. The fact that any of these atrocities happen in our age is horrid, vile, and JUST PLAIN WRONG. To say that any one has a moral high ground or that any one incident is more wrong than another is just plain stupid. So get off your damn high horses and get over it......Good gods now I'm ranting. Perhaps I can illustrate this by changing the subject to show it would be racist if you were referring to black people instead of women. (NB I not calling you racist. I'm simply drawing an analogy).

What if your proposition was this?...

"Black people get beaten up by white supremacists so they'll have to ride on separate buses and use separate public rest rooms and other facilities. My only concern is the safety of black people."

The two propositions are morally equivalent but one is racist and one is sexist. It's not black people or women who should need to modify their behaviour because the problem is the men/white supremacists. See?

I'm trying to figure out what the point is that makes you folks keep tossing the horrendous acts committed on and by people ALL OVER THE WORLD in ALL SOCIETIES, back and forth at each other. We're human with all that implies. **There's a certain percentage of us that are fuckin' crazy!** That's the way it has been , that's the way it is and that's the way it will remain. No. Many a good Christian nun been raped in the past. From the time of the Vikings, through the expansion of the Islamic Ottoman Empire into Europe etc..

Also just to mention that in Britain we've had several cases recently of organized gangs of young Asian men, Muslims that is, grooming and sexually abusing vulnerable young girls. The girls are all white. There's no equivalent among other ethnic groups here.

Seems to me there's a problem there.
