I trust Hanes V Neck tshirts because they hold tie-dye so well and are incredibly comfortable. I like any brand that is earth friendly/fair trade as well.
I love The Indian Designer Sabyaschi designs for sarees and skirts . They are the hottest trend now in India and also international. Many Bollywood and Hollywood actors are choosing only him for there clothes. He has created some very exclusive sarees.
I really don't care about brands, so I don't like one best. I just buy something new when I need it or when something i like is on sale.
Ok, as an avid thrift store shopper myself, I can say that brands do still matter to me. Jenko Jeans will take one hell of a beating, even used, and I LIKE the little cartoon logos patches, so I don't mind being "branded". Victoria Secrets, even used, are well built and comfortable. Soda shoes are tough, but also pretty and made to walk in, so their platforms come home if I find them. Sketchers are worth it as long as they are still in good repair, though mostly they have been walked into the ground when i see them in my area. And Sanrio, believe it or not, makes quality things for Europe and Japan, but if it was made in China, it's probably cheep disposable crap only sold in america. In this case, I don't just check the brand, but also what country it's made in Mudd makes garbage, period. Even for a quarter, that company is still over priced. Even new, the quality dose not exist. I won't ever spend another penny on them, even second hand. Other then that, I try things that look fun, and see if the label was worth remembering.
I don't really pay attention to brands. I usually get my clothes from the thrift store, though. I'm too cheap to pay full price for anything! haha -- I like to stay away from stores that show their brand on their clothes, like American Eagle, and Hollister
