What's the most unhip thing that you think a hippie should never do? For me it would probably be buying or owning something for the sole purpose of wanting to shove the ownership in other people's faces. "Look at me! I've got a Lincoln!"

Unless, of course, it's a 1960s vintage VW van

 

I would say the most uncool thing would be to narc someone out.I can't stand a rat.

 

I agree with Budz, that's the frist think that came to my mind and then I thought, harming a child would be worse then that.

Trying to break someones spirit in the name of conformity...trying to deny someone the right to "dance to the tune of a different drummer" because what they want to do doesn't go along with what the majority believes...

 

Most unhip thing to me is to on purposely hurt others in any way shape or form.

going along with the crowd, when it is against what you feel in your heart.

 

Making fun of other people or casting judgement on others. I am constantly drilling this into my childrens' heads. I'm so proud of them, too. My daughter is always telling me about some kid that's getting made fun of at school, and she'll say..."mama, I make sure I go out of my way to make them feel good". You just never know what kind of home life someone has, and a simple smile can really make their day.
