I lived in Connecticut last winter and I can tell ya...26 inches of snow is a huge hassle. Trees & branches down blocking roads, driveways become useless> just a place where your car must remain until either you dig it out or wait for spring. Metro North (trains to NYC) were shut down for 5 days. Just a big problem getting anywhere, which makes the day before the big storm ,,,1 long line at any store that sells salt, any other snow removal stuff, and groceries (the liqueur store I can understand) ...I can go on and on...but the question was "What is the thing you like to do in a snowstorm?- I like to forget about all that I just mentioned,, & start the day with a Kahlua and coffee. Me and Ms.Jack would then start a fire (we wisely keep the wood covered so its dry )- -find an old movie or 2 and kill off the morning. Back to bed around 1 or 2 in the afternoon-yeah even us old timers like a romp in the afternoon when we can- Around 5 or 6 , a nice dinner is started while an old https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L9xLiLQ9VP4"]Grateful Dead - Dead Ahead: NYC, October 1980 - YouTube dead show plays on- - Later into the evening after a bottle of wine or 2- - whatever happens,,happens- -all on all its a nice deal- - UnTiL its time to dig out- jack(frost)- from the NorthEast
we dont have snow here , although i like snow . But when its winter i like to sit in . have making out with my wife . under hot blankets . soft music . getting drunk or eating . i really like those moments . Me and her only one in world , and dont care about rest .
Thanks, Spectacles . My dogs are all nancy boys and hate the snow. :/ Haha. Yeah, we have to wear full shirts here . NEVER? Holy shit. You're missing out. Snow is my favorite. I'm celibate, Mike. So, I don't have sex during any sort of weather.
We'll I've been in the snow plenty of times in fact my family has place in the mountains. But I've never been in the kind of snow storms you guys are talking about, we just don't get that in Cali. Oh and I'm celibate too.
I just like to stay inside & watch the road get covered by it & all the idiots who go out driving in it & get stuck in it.
i like to sleep during the storm because i know ill be worn out shovelling and plowing after its over
When I lived where it snowed, I'd take one of my mustangs out and have fun. Or my dad's truck if it was a lot of snow, in which case I'd take it to the mountains and ride that fresh pow. Let my dogs run around is always cool too. Dogs love snow.
I'd agree, but not for driving in snow.. but for driving any 32 Ford in snow! I want to see pics of that thing
I either chill inside or get the toys out. If its more than me, The jeep is locked and has made 4ft of snow no problem. But fun to air down and fly around fields and jump drifts lol. Or I get the the quad out if its 8" or less and ride around town and roads. But after all the fun, I have to shovel the shit or it turns to ice and builds up. Not bad until its all wet/heavy snow then its a PITA and drags on. Oh well, Its not uncommon for me to have to drive un-plowed, White out drifted highways. The GPS I have has all the routes I travel and the line to take so I can always follow that lol.
Go outside and experience mother nature at her finest like we did earlier this year during Nemo with it's hurricane force winds and up to 38 inches in some areas :2thumbsup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipbfwpK6zT8"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipbfwpK6zT8 hotwater
