I can't tell if you're being sarcastic, or if you thought my post said "sexy" instead of "sexist."

I would not want to be with a women who cared that much about what kind of car I drove. Talk about superficial.

I've only ever owned one car, and that's over ten years ago now. It was an old piece of shit. I will never spend a lot of money on a car, it is purely a practical luxury to me.

Australia is the only place where I felt like not having a car gave me a disadvantage with the ladies. Some of them would actually ask me what kind of car I drove. The look on their faces when I told them I rode a bicycle..

    Hey!
I drove a motorbike for a few years, and I assure you, my penis is a good size!

Word. It's super easy, easier than riding a bicycle. And so much fun!

I think though there are some lines that i wish i could explain better, trust me as time goes on youll all see that i tend to not be able to really put thoughts into words with how im thinking them :p

Like for instance...when i was specifically dating, i could get a SLIGHT idea of what someones personality was like by things they drive.

For instance, i feel that there are different types of women and sometimes what they drive can give a small window of understanding. If a girl drives up in a huge truck, it sort of is like the book cover to it all almost. Id be guessing shes most likely into sports as well, and im sure she might love to do some outdoorsy stuff etc...its just a little more rugged than if she drives up in a Elantra perhaps. But not saying that i would walk away from a woman driving a certain car, all im saying is that you gain a small window of insight i think into someones personality a bit by what they drive.

Im a dude who lifts, loves sports, and i just so happen to drive trucks, big trucks etc...i think it sort of is as i said a cover to the book almost.

But really though as someone said its my cousin and i know it is, trust me i could sit here and write a 300 page post on it...but its so funny because as was said hes to nice etc...and its true, he is to nice to the point of having no backbone. I just think its funny how fitting he drives something called a "Malibu" :p

And remember, this isnt really about someones money...were talking choice of vehicle.

Another example would be like this. Like for instance, if im going on a date and meeting up with someone and im waiting for her somewhere and she comes barreling on up in leather and on a harley...there is a huge chance, not 100% but a huge chance that most likely we arent going to connect as its sort of a "comes with the territory" type thing. But again its not like its concrete that it wouldnt work, but its more or less you get a feel for someones personality at first glance.

I just believe that while not every situation is identical, one could make slight generalizations around the types of vehicles we drive. We pick cars for a reason, we pick what we like and to me personalities speak through them.

Another example would be cruising around in a convertible....there are people who just have the look. I happen to not be one of those people, im not a convertible guy...you wont see my hair flowing through the wind in one...its just not in my personality.

So i dunno...i think its an interesting subject to say the least.

Being an Aussie I had to look up Malibu. Its not so bad, maybe a bit family car like and perhaps that's the problem.
I personally would not mind as long as the car worked and didn't break down.
I've been with out with guys that owned all kinds of vehicles and I have a huge hang up on a guy that drives a Pantech although I don't think that's his normal transportation, (Work Vehicle) but that's the only vehicle I've seen him drive.
Maybe the women he chooses to date are a little prissy and not planning on settling soon and the car makes them think he's ready for kids.
Or there's no room in the front to have sex.
    I don't know.

I've been told by several of my lady friends that a man who drives a stick shift pick up truck is a turn on.

Here's the thing about that sex in the vehicle thing though...some of the upperscale brands really don't have much room in the backseat, it's tight back there.

So prestige, doesn't always mean practicality.

But a former poster here (metal, I think) is right that you an make a general first impression about someone based on what they drive. So I kinda of agree with that, but I reiterate it isn't the car itself that's gonna be a plus or a minus, it's gonna be the person(s) involved.

Call me shallow but I love a man in a big honkin loud-ass Dodge truck or any type of Mopar muscle car from the late 60's, early 70's like a 'Cuda or Challenger. I dont know what it is about a guy doing a burn out that sets my heart a-flutter. Maybe b/c I grew up around things like that, I personally wouldnt look twice at a man cruisin down the road in a Hyundai or a Smart Car heh...call me hollow and superficial, I dont care. We all have different likes. hey Metalhead79- enjoy the HEMI......DODGE POWER!!

A nice ride might have gotten my attention when I was single, but for me... what comes out of the guy's mouth matters more. I've dated men who had nice rigs, just for the fun of it, but we were both aware of it being temporary. Generally speaking, I want a man to be at least somewhat competent mechanically, because I am. I don't want to ride in a dumpster on wheels, so it has to be somewhat clean.

Honestly, when it comes to cars it really doesn't matter. Unless of course he drives a POS and acts like it's hot shit. That's just annoying. I've known a LOT of guys who bought cars they thought would get them laid. I've seen it work and fail...so, I think there is some relevance. I don't think a Malibu is your cousin's issue with women...I'd lean more towards his personality. If he drove a hot pink Prius...yeah, then the car might be the problem ;) but then again, that might also work with some women. It takes all kinds....

This thread kind of reminds me of the joke "What's the difference between porcupines and Porche drivers? The pricks are on the outside of a porcupine."
