i couldn't disagree with this more. i smile by myself all the time. call me crazy.

 

Maybe I can't relate because I have an iron soul and haven't smiled in 20 years.

some people take up jogging because they've had a health scare.. perhaps the mind is focused on getting fit..

 

I have to disagree. I think behaviors are guided by feelings, definitely, but I do not think they are behaviors in themselves.

 

They are focussed on the physical effort they are pulling off. That makes for a focussed face. Focussed faces (especially during physical efforts) have been wrongly interpreted as grumpy faces since... well a long time

 

i bet you'd get the very same results if you were walkin' everyday.i have great pins too and i never jog.you'd probably love walkin' if you tryed it.

 

i think the next jogger i come across i'm goin' ta stop them an ask them why.your a happy runner an biker. cos your enjoying it.

 

I've noticed 99% of joggers have white earbuds hanging out of their ears. they're always white earbuds because it is the stock bullshit that comes with every apple product. I'd be pissed too if I was limited via apple products and had to stick little fucking nodules in my ear canal too. Give me cheap Koss brand over-the-ears and mp3's on my android phone anyday.

but then again, I wouldn't be caught dead jogging alongside the main roads with these lemmings. Give me a bicycle and a bike path anyday.. It helps that I live in the best place in the world for bike paths though. It's true, look it up! Plus, give me some basketball shorts and a white hanes undershirt to ride my bike in.. These tools that wear spandex bicycle gear are just comical They're just asking to get their $1500 cannondale or Giant stolen from them... at some point in their day, they think, "It's a good idea to put on these spandex shorts with a big padded ass and go into public."

I'm all for being active but some of these people are ridiculous. It all starts with the white earbuds too

I shot this pic of the 1st female finisher at a 5k marathon this summer. look how happy she is...it was the only smile I saw pass that finish line though.
But she's a professional, she's probably seen one too many grimacing shots of herself so she makes sure she forces a smile for the cameras when she crosses the finish line! lol
