i think my stuff is generally pretty good for stoners, caus the songs feel warm often and i love overlays

im still working on my voice and these tracks were recorded on my computer, and thats why theres always fuzz in the background, and the overall sound quality is low. the bigger the speakers, the better the sound you'll get (cuts the high's which are the more annoying fuzzes)

but anywya, i used the standard 'Sound Recorder' to record everything, and i just play it here next to the computer. all the songs were mixed in Adobe Premiere (movie software, ive edited lots in the past so when it came to audio, i just used this)

When i have 8 songs that im happy with (and some money and singing lessons lol), im going to record them at a studio

ive actually written a lot of songs, but a lot of them i just couldnt be bothered recording, and if i leave a song for too long then i forget how they go lol

and ive got 8 or so songs about animals, with just vocals and guitar but thei9r quality is really bad, despite some of the songs being good, and i want to re record all of them too

 

If youa re serious about recording on your computer first off buy a Mac. They're the absolute best for that kind of thing. After you bought your Mac buy the software called ProTools. It is great for recording things, sublime even did an album with it. You can edit it all and everything but for recording what you should do is there is a special thinig that protolls makes, it fits in a USB port and has this big box. You can plug what you are recording into the box, like it has the jacks that microphones, guitars, etc. use and more than one of each. Its great, you should research it a little more on the web but go for it.

nar i dont listen to them, and whenever something of mine sounds like something i know, i try to make it sound different

yeh inavacuum i know all about that stuff, im just limited by my budget. i dont have enough money to buy any of that stuff, brand new theyre very expensive, and there arent that many easily avaiable second hand.

but yeh the drummer of my band (different music completely) has mac, and we use protools with his computer. not the mixing station tho, we dont have enough money for one of them, we're all saving for amps at the moment

wow u really suprised me. I think ur shit sounds really good. I have some music of my own where i sythensized beats and i layed me singing emo lyrics over it nad it sounds dank. I also have a few raps we did for fun if ne 1s intrested. How do u upload songs?
