Scary stuff, deliriants are one of the only class of drugs that I have had no desire to explore... I'm not defending the drug here necessarily as it sounds like some terrible shit but many of those problems associated with the drug in the video, seem a result of the Columbian culture rather than any specific effect of the drug.

I mean people could likely be taken advantage of with most any powerful mind altering drug that's slipped into a drink.

Being out of it for as long as the scopolamine duration and some people having effects that don't go away is pretty sketch stuff tho.

I've some Datura growing out back. I'd rather wait for my Latua pubiflora trees to bulk up a bit before i try this kind of herb again.

The plant that people use to make cocaine.

Cocaine was used as a bittering agent in coke, it's a foil for the sugar..caffeine works too.

Nah... I think they just gathered around a lot of leaves, made a big soup and then they concentrated it by evapping. new formula is needed:

Scientists discover the alkaloids of the plant.. they only extract the cocaine because the original flavor was legendary and the big boss who is in it for the soul because he has the money to quit decided that since only cocaine is legal the rest of the alkaloids should be left there for that original taste.

Although I'm not a botanist or chemist from my brief research on the internet I conclude that although Nicotiana tabacum is a member of the Solanaceae family, it does not actually produce these tropane alkaloids. Not that there's a shortage of toxic, carcinogenic, and even radioactive compounds created by cigarette smoke



Also, mind control through trace amounts of tropane alkaloids in one small ingredient in one soft drink . . . that's a new one, thanks
