i'm gonna go to Italy soon, are you people nice?

    sorry for the english.

    i'm going to travel around europe next summer, and i'm bound to end up in italy at some point. I'd hope to learn some of your language, but i'm a total dumbass, so it's not going to be much. are your people likely to be friendly to me, or are italian people notoriously hostile towards tourists? should i worry much about the language?

    just wondering. i'm nervous as hell.

    I also went to italy several times and people are friendly. I leard italien for three years in scholl. The language is very easy to learn and when you can talk a litte bit - and if it's only a littel people are friendly. Also if you can't speak a word in italien it's no problem. If you go to italy I sugged you to visit Assisi, Florenz, Perugia, Rome, Palermo, Napoli. This are beautiful places.
