1400mgs of DXM and I didn't get high?

Assuming you read the title, I took 1400 milligrams of extracted DXM Poly. I have only done HBR before though, I waited 4 hours for the effects to kick in. But all I got was a light buzz, but nothing really notable. I did everything right, I didn't eat before, parachuted it, etc. I had done a basic cold water extraction from delysum (Multiple bottles) My buddie took 1300 of the same stuff. What went wrong? Is it cause it was Poly? And he didn't feel much either

 

Idk dude, I've also only done dxm in the pill form, I don't know exactly what poly is. I would assume that's why.

 

I don't see the point in extracting delsym...it actually tastes kinda good, and the last time I had a 50z bottle of the grape it kicked my ass

how many mg did u take, and in what form. syrup or gelcaps, or was it delsym?

 

It was in pill form. Coricidin, each pill has 30 mg dxm and like 5 mg of somethin maleate. I know what it is but its hard to spell. I took 2 sheets, each sheet has 8 pills.

 

so u took 16 triple c's 480mg dxm.ugghh triple c's are not recommended, tho they are cheap sometimes, go for robo gel caps

 

Yeah I don't do dxm often and I've never had a problem with triple c's. But yeah next time ill try the robo gel caps

one time I made the mistake of taking over 1000mg dxm and thinking it wasn't gonna work thought I'd go out and get more, it was late so I had to ride transportations to a 24 hr pharmacy, I missed my stop ended up in the ghetto, and then it kicked in full on, everything was white, like ghostly, cuz it was a very foggy night aned all the steam coming from the streets. All I could see were shitty walls, cracked streets with huge holes in the street/sidewalk, got in a taxi, he drove me like a few blocks then pulled a blade and kicked me out...I knew I was gonna be lost in the ghetto so I found a little alley to just hide in and attempt to use the map app to get transit directions but I knew I would be lost until I came down enough to use the phone and understand what I was seeing....I didn't get back till like 4am or so and I had left stupidly without my keys so I couldn't get in the building so I just stood there, till a lady walked out and I could catch the door and get in...the keys were still in the lock upstairs.

It wasn't a very pleasant experience....don't leave ur house on high doses of dxm by yourself, you could get lost even in a familiar area cuz ur sense of direction gets all fuked and it feels like your in a maze for real.

 

right dude. One time I did hella tripple cs..it was back when I was irresponsible with drugs so I didn't keep track of how many I took. I tripped so fuckin hard..I was with someone but he was trippin too and he just disapeared. I didn't know where I was, everything looked cartoony and colorful. I had to keep telling myself that I had a life and I needed to go home, cuz I kept feeling like I was dreaming. I kept falling too..and it felt good to fall for some reason. It felt euphoric. Anyways I agree dxm is best to do in a house where u won't get lost and u don't have to wwalk much

 

if it was the daytime and I was trippin', and it a was a beautiful day outside in the city, I wouldn't mind as much getting lost somewhere, nice....it'd be like an adventure but not a cold foggy night in the shitty.

 

I've discovered a secret to drinking cough syrup, well its really not a secret at all, but I find it minimally unpleasant. DON"T DRINK FROM THE COUGH SYRUP BOTTLE...pour the cough syrup into a regular glass, hold ur nose and chug it down as fast as you can don't even think about it, then chug down a chaser, if you even need it, but for the least unpleasantness get something that tastes good, drink that still holding ur nose, then maybe rinse out ur mouth and brush ur teeth...should be no problem, and always get store brand syrup, I've found that Rite-aid generic cough syrup seems to be the best, and is thinner than other syrups.

I don't really know why he pulled a knife on me...probably what you said. The taxi passed me, and then stopped like idk about a block from me, but I'm not sure how far cuz my distance perception was screwed up, as well as my memory.

So I had to run down the block because I didn't want him to get impatient and go away so I ran, and I can run fast on dxm, at least it seems that way, but I wasn't sticking to the sidewalk, or even one side of the street, from what I remember I kindof ran down one side of the sidewalk, and part of the time I was on the other side, and some of the time in the middle of the fuckin' street (I don't know why).

I remember sayin' something about money to the cab driver, but I don't really remember what it was.

 

I feel safer on syrup rather than taking it in 16 pills. syrup gives me a warm tingly slight psychedelic experience, but pills tend to give me a "dirtier" high.

DXM on its own inhibits memory so you may have trouble remembering parts of the trip but u will remember the sensation of having just taken an incredible ride. This is true for all dissociatives. Valium and other benzos also impair memory so combining the two could lead to worse memory loss or blackouts. Also combining CNS depressants is generally not recommended but IME small doses of benzos in combination with DXM has not been overly dangerous. There are some reports that clonazepam can increase CEVs on DXM and I have found this the case although I have limited experience with the combo myself.

Get anything with DXM as the ONLY active ingredient. You don't wanna be taking higher than recommended doses of shit like acetaminophen OK. robitussin gel caps have 15 mg per pill and are easy to take, or robitussin long acting adult cough, or a store brand equivalent. Just make sure DXM is the only active ingredient.
