My friend told me about these sessions he does with people, he sits them inside a curtained space, so it's all black curtain around them except for the mirror in front of them. And most of the times they're on some drugs haha. Acid or something that causes hallucinations. Then he begins to ask them questions as they stare at themselves in the mirror. One guy said that all he saw in the mirror was a mouth and eyes. One guy said he saw other people talking to him and answering the questions. Other people have themselves talk to them, each session is different but always a mindfuck. Something fun to try.
unless i really want to see my own face, and why, its boring, i've seen it before, i sort of shut my eyes on the inside and don't see anything, in a visual sense. i mean i'm sure my mind is still receiving visual signals from my eyes, but its just useless noise data to be ignored. and perhaps mildly annoyed by. sure i'd love to look in a mirror and see some kind of furry/alien alter ego staring back. but a mirror is just a physical thing, and all it has ever shown me is just the same face i see every time i look in it.
