I'm going to be heading there. Originally my roomie and I were going to be taking my vehicle, but she's gonna take hers to pick up some friends on the way, which leaves me with open seating! Anyone looking to go up there by Thursday evening or a bit earlier...this is last minute, but the Ride-Shares aren't hitting and I hate to drive a vehicle with just myself! I'll be leaving from Orlando, but if you got something for trade (Yeah I'll use paper as currency for gas haha or whatever, bartering works!) I won't mind swinging well out of my way to help you get to where you're going. Damn, where are my manners, eh? I am traveling from Pittsburgh for the Montana 2013 gathering. Can take about three with me. Would like to know a little about rainbows I'm picking up, so send me a link if you're going my way. Helping out with driving and gas is a plus. I'm traveling clean, as I hear the law is basically awaiting us at the gates. When we return we expect to be in Lake Mary, likely 2015 or 2016 with a new site the following year... There will be an A-Cola in March 2014 in the Appalachacola NF, outside of Tallahassee FL

Too many stories, you might be a troll but i'll try to answer anyway. I do not sign every year. I signed for the first three permitted gatherings in the Ocala NF, stopped for 8 years then signed for the last two. I was not fined for the fire nor was the gathering publically blamed by the FS. Ocala is Rainbow because the attendees, at council, say so, and have at least six times I know of ... so listening to council on the land or a nameless, faceless name on an obscure website, I'll listen to council ... We do meet in the 450,000 acre Ocala NF every year, but in a different spot accessing different areas and different cities supplying us. We try and use a 5 year cycle sites but sometimes go in as few as 4 years. Permitting allows us to have ongoing communications with the NF Resource Pholks and they sit in council with us as we decide on sites... And I accept your apology, but if you really want something to say, it should be at councils which are well announced. See you there ... or not!
