In reality, Yoga doesn’t have much to do with one’s age or sex; however, one has to take into account the individual conditions of the body. People who have crossed a certain age often have restrictions when it comes to flexibility of the body, and there is no reason to worry as Yoga is not only about flexibility, but also about meditation and the right kind of breathing, as it is rightly said, with Yoga one surely gains.

One thing that has to be kept note of is that the movements carried out by
the elderly should not be very rigorous. Furthermore, there should be some amount of rest that should follow the regular Yoga regime, like easing and comforting the body by taking trained breaths and unwinding the parts of the body including the sense organs.

Hence, we see how useful Yoga can prove to be even for elderly people and there is absolutely no reason that they should be reluctant about embracing this powerful and desirable instrument, as Yoga can truly make a mark in making their lives better.
