I see people daily trying to make the world a better place, making an impact already by inspiring others through their actions. Some things are still turning for the bad of course but overall I am happy we are not in such a shitty decade as the freaking 80's :2thumbsup: Perhaps it is just your world that has gone to crap? (crap generally makes good fertilizer, which makes me happy too)
I love this thread- it does a lot of good to stop and think about the things that bring you joy, here is my list: my kids, (though they are sometimes the cause of a lot of "good greifs!" lol!)they are so fun! I want to freeze my youngest right now at 6 years old~ awesome imagination and energy all the time! music~ always,always,always! It's summer right now, so the beach! (about to leave in a half hour to spend the day there!)
Hard question to answer today, since all the things that usually get a rise out of me aren't working today. I think I'll read my Ayn Rand paperback in solitude and silence.
aggressiveness getting its ass kicked the self ritious making a fail (when it isn't me) a new toy to play with i can actually do something creative with a good tasting meal that isn't bad for my health being loved by cats. being able to find things when i look for them not having to worry about anything a cool breeze on a spring day that smells like pine needles getting to the bus stop right before the bus riding a train making scenery for a model train and having a place to do so. watching mechanical things controlled by computers move around on their own. seeing passenger trains, and more of them more often. finding a nice flat rock to sit on along a trail out in the woods. seeing wild creatures not be disturbed by my being there.
