Need dr near Joplin, MO to write for meds

Hi all. I'm from Joplin, MO and can't find a doc to write any pain med prescriptions. I have had spinal surgery and as we know, once the surgeon is done with you, so are the scripts. I have chronic pain and drs have told me I'll end up in a wheelchair soon. I'm not ready for that. I have lots of living left to do. I have people that need and depend / rely on me. It isn't just for me. I want a quality of life I can only get with the narcotic pain meds. I've tried everything else. Anyone know of anywhere near here I can go and relatively easily get them? I'd travel. I need help and from reading these posts, you all seem pretty sincere.
