so mumford and sons missed their saturday night headline spot at bonnaroo this year, due aparently to medical complications one of the members of the band could not play, so none of them played. i for one was really disapointed. hopefully he gets better, and mumford and sons doesn't suffer any more medical issues.
I think they cancelled three different US shows, something about an emergency surgery. I'll see if I can dig up a link for ya.
http://www.mumfordandsons.com/news/...leans-shows-postponed-a-message-from-the-band Straight from their website, weird they didn't mention Bonnaroo.
i used to work with someone who played one of their cds several times a day everyday. i probably wouldn't have liked them to begin with but now i can't stand them
I'm not a big fan of "pop grass"... Same for new trampled by turtles... Whom mumford sounds just like
I personally dig Mumford... Unfortunately their sophomore album doesn't even have half the soul their first album did. Whatevs.
Which album of theirs do you like most? Personally Palomino is my favourite, though their last release (Stars and Satellites?) was no good. And to stay on topic here, sucks for Mumford and Sons. It would be interesting as band to get up and do a show with one man missing.. it would be more improv, but definitely original.
