Yoga encourages a deeper awareness of your mind and body, and is an exercise that stimulates you physically, mentally and spiritually. There are different types or branches of yoga; however they all mainly focus on the integration of one’s mind and body to attain a higher level of spiritual enlightenment. Yoga stimulates your body and mind and fills you with a sense of fulfilment and peace,
thus increasing a positive self-image, which leads to respecting your body more and abusing it less.

The practice of Yoga requires performing a variety of asanas or postures, from simple bending to advanced and more complicated ones. It’s also important to be comfortable with what you’re wearing when practising yoga and choose the right kind of Yoga clothes so you can move freely and get the best out of your practice.

I disagree with nothing you write however realize you are confusing yoga asana with Yoga (Yogic Sciences) perhaps asana is the least important limb of Yoga, often it is the asana that hooks the practitioner but why should one settle for a toothpick when they can have the entire forest.
