I'm thinking it's safe to say the 99% of first sex with a new partner starts with some making out, the hands start roaming, etc... Let's hear of the stories where the ice breaker was odd, funny or just plain out-there. Feel free to mix comments on previous/other stores and your story in the same reply. I was dating this gal quite while ago. We had been just friends to that point, but the tension was mounting (no pun intended). We were over my place chatting away on the coach and the conversation just ran-out. I was starting to think that she wanted to keep it friendly... then, without a word... she takes my hand a places it inside her blouse. Then she just kind of stares around the room nonchalantly. After a ridiculously long pause .. with second base still firmly in hand... we finally look at each other and she smiles and shrugs. (At that point is was off to the races)
I think as maturity sets in, the nervousness we all felt when younger about making that first move dissipates. These days, when I'm with someone on a date (very rare!) or just in a situation where something can evolve, both parties tend to recognize the likelihood or not reasonably early without having to say suggestive things. the last time, I ascertained quite early she was happy to participate, I simple asked her to stay the night. It's the "no frills" approach.
