Whats With All The Ad Redirects?

Has anyone else noticed a huge increase in the amount of advertisements this forum has now that makes you redirect to other sites or these stupid pop up boxes saying you're the winner and the ad videos wtf happened here? Grr it's annoying did Skip sell out and go mainstream or what happened here? Wasn't like this a year ago

Might be a redirect virus on your computer. Those kind of viruses can be tricky to get rid of. The usual antivirus software doesn't always get rid of them.

 

i use adblock and i don't see most of the ads on here. sounds like you have a virus though.

you know how much it cost to operate a site like this? the paid memberships are not enough.. while many of you are regular users of the forum. just exactly how much time and money have you donated to keep it running? ..

i don't get any popups here, but i think the whole point of buying ad space on a forum is for the ad to redirect to your site.

I've never used adblock before. I started using it for the first time yesterday. I'm not sure if has a conflict with Quicktime, though. Apart from that - it's great
(I feel a little bit guilty not making a donation - but that will pass )
