i love alice cooper. the band that is (honestly im not a fan of the man's solo career in the least...). oft-times i find im alone in my appreciation for this amazing group and i find that pretty damn sad (in mentioning them i usually get "isnt that the guy from waynes world? hes weird." or something of that caliber). i personally think that they played some of the greatest music from the 60s and 70s. well anyway, im making this thread because i need to share my love for alice with whoever else out there may have it... so are there any coop fans on these forums? what are your favorite albums/songs? id have to say my favorite alice album would probably be easy action, but ive also got a soft spot for love it to death. as for songs; long way to go, black juju, laughing at me, shoe salesman, ballad of dwight frye, second coming, crazy little child, woman machine, teenage lament '74, blue turk, today mueller, living, fields of regret, levity ball, sing low sweet cheerio, alma mater, luney tune, my stars, killer, unfinished sweet, desperado... some of my favorites. so wheres the love for this great band??
...thought this was a buckethead's coop thread but oh well. Once on sky maria pastora I was listening to the B side of my Schools Out 45 and whatever song that is sounded great that night! I was a harsh AC critic in the day ~ maybe another listen is in order?
"cough" just bought Billion Dollar Babies on VINYL for 50 cents baby...50 FREAKING CENTS....god is goood.
Yaa! Gutter Cats! Rocks! cheap vinyl makes any day like Xmas ~ Dylan, Yes, Crimson, Springfield, Doobies, all for $0.25 last month woohoo!
Alice Cooper is awesome, both band and man, though I do agree the music was better with the band, but his solo career is still awesome to me.
