If so what is your opinion of it after working with it?

    Please be descriptive. For example:
    1) what was your knowledge of the language prior to working with Rosetta Stone?
    2) How long did you use it?
    3) Did you use all levels...etc?
    4) After having used it, would you say you are still a beginner, intermediate, advanced..etc..
    Etc...
***please also mention if you are extremely gifted when it comes to learning new languages, because well frankly I am not :p

I've been thinking about getting it, but I keep getting mixed messages.

    Thanks everyone :)

I heard lots of good things about it

I used level one rosetta stone french

it only took me about an hour or so to go through it

    I already knew some french

I wasn't blown away by it. It seems like an ok way to learn, but if you are going to buy the set, it seems pretty expensive

I used it with Spanish but I think it's rubbish. It can give you a picture of a guy jumping and you have to choose the correct word for that. In one case, the correct word was "saltó", which means "he/she jumped".

It never said anything about any tenses. It's shitty if you're a beginner imo.
