I'd like to find some friends for my daughters so they can have some interaction with other kids. They are 20 months old & 9 months old. Does anyone have any tips on setting up play dates? I don't know anyone else with kids and I've searched online a little bit but can't find anything. I tried craigslist but I don't feel I'd be compatible with the few mom's that responded. Hmm, anyone here happen to be from southern ca? I live in the inland empire...
Do you have things like toddler groups or soft plays where you are? Or even just playgrounds. We always meet lots of new people in those places and my daughter has made quite a few little friends we see fairly regularly now.
There are groups on meetup.com for moms & toddlers but it was just so much hoopla.. I had to register then you're supposed to fill out a lengthy profile and then you're required to go to so many meetings and some require a group fee...idk it made me uncomfortable... but perhaps I will be going that route again.. I also kinda feel like I will be an oddball. I really just want someone with a couple of kids to come over to play. I wish there was a website that matches people. Haha, I should create a mommy & me matchup website..
