You are 100% Correct! One visit to Wreck beach and I was Hooked. A Plus is that Nude beaches are more Friendly than textile beaches.
No comparison! It is very easy to meet people and actually have conversations at a nude beach compared to the occasional hello or generic comment at a regular beach. There is much more openness and acceptance: all body types, ages, level of fitness. And I assume from cars parked in the lots that there is also a lot of variation in economic status! Everything gets lost with the clothing. People introduce themselves and their companions. "Regulars" are very friendly to visitors and offer advice on local restaurants, hotels. That in addition to just being nude is definitely a big part of the addictive nature! Additionally, people that I meet and have more detailed conversations with at textile beaches tend to be people who either normally visit nude locations or are interested in visiting them .
Know what you mean about the "roommate(s)" thing. My place was always textile free. Then I got the roomer. Nice guy, very conservative. His money is great, stays in his room MOST of the time, only makes coffee runs to the kitchen and back to his room. My friends always appreciated my place, usually dropping their textiles as they closed the front door. They're taking it harder than I am that they can't let it all hang out. Ah, for the good ole days when we would "point and laugh."
very good choice sweet79, it can be very daunting for anyone who goes to a nude beach for the first time, either on their own, or with a first time partner. it all depends on the type of nudist beach you go to, if its a legal one and there are lots of other nudists, you are more likely to be safer, if it is a beach that only allows nude bathing in one area, you need to be aware of non nudists being around you. you should also be aware of some of the things that can, and often do happen, like watching out for perverts hiding in the dunes who sit and wait until they think the time is right to approach you with some sort of offer, or comment. watch out for the wierdo's who walk past you and sit down on their towel 50' away and hide their photo or video camera under the folded towel taking happy snaps of you without you even noticing. if you see any guy near you and he looks suspicious, just get up, shake your towel, and start walking in his direction and see what he does, usually these creeps will get up and move on as well because he may think that you are going to confront him. if you do a google search on beach spy cams you will be bombarded with lots of sites containing secret videos shot on beaches, and if your not careful, it just might be you. not many females go to a nude beach alone, but many guys do, and i used go to them myself if i never had a partner, and even i had to be careful of wierd men who try to get you to "play" with them in the dunes. it was wierd once tho, i was at the beach, lying on my belly listening to some music, and a girl came up to me huffing and puffing and told me some guy came out of the water while she was walking past him and he tried to get her to go with him somewhere, and asked if she could pull up her towel near me just so she felt a bit safer, and we got to talking to each other, and she eventually became a long term girlfriend of mine, something i never thought would ever happen from a trip to a nudist beach.
