Splash park was awesome this morning even though it wasn't too warm out. At first Cason didn't know what to think and didn't want to get wet... but then he ended up running through all the water being drenched and just jumping up and down and yelling "yayyyy!!!"... he was sooo happy Now just waiting for the mail and hoping that the check we are expecting in the mail ... hopefully in today's and not til Monday...comes. Because if it does, then shopping shopping and more shopping. Various types of shopping And tomorrow...think we're gonna head out to the free outdoor show at Longs Park in Lancaster county.... it'll be Dave Alvin. Probably head out there early and grill some food in the park and throw a Frisbee around. Found out last night that hubby IS actually off tomorrow night so decided we'll prolly head out there.
On Friday I just chilled at home and didn't do anything too interesting. It was raining a lot, so I just talked and played with Sophia and we watched some cartoons. On Saturday I got together with a friend from work, we walked around the city, went to two different bars, got lunch and we went to watch a movie. We watched The Purge, she was really excited about it, but it was terrible. It had no redeeming qualities whatsoever, but at least we laughed a lot about how bad it was. We walked some more, hung out at her house and then I came back home in a train full of drunk people. I hate taking the train on weekend nights, this time it was filled with drunk people in cowboy hats and boots, so it was 10 times worse as usual. As we were walking around the city, my friend and I were holding hands because we're just very touchy people and people kept saying things like "you guys are so cute!!" or "aw, look at you two, you're so adorable". It was funny, also kinda sad. I'm sure if we had been two guys the reaction would have been different. Today I don't know what I'm doing. Another friend from work is going kayaking and she told me I should take Sophia to Peace Valley and go on a paddle boat. Her cousin's kid is one of Sophia's best friends at school and she said she would invite him too. I just woke up and John is still sleeping, maybe when he's awake we can decide, if not we'll just hang out at a park around 2-3pm.
I got high and cleaned the house and watch movies and play on the computer took a bubble bath pigged out , see the doc tomorrow at 1:00 pm
Friday I drank beer and went for pizza, and spent the night at a fuck friend's house, oh....and got sex too. Saturday (somewhat hungover), I met a large walking group and went on a "bridges" walk. It was about 8 miles and we crossed some 9 bridges in parts of San Diego I've never even seen. It was super nice, although a bit chilly. The walk ended at a greek church holding a greek festival, so we had lunch there and browsed. Then home, ran my 16 y/o around a little, and mostly sat on the couch with my laptop. Today is busy busy. I play tennis this morning, then go on a brewery tour with a new group, then to the coast for a birthday part with a teammate. I'm going to have to pace myself.
I payed my rent. Had a MMR Booster. Found a great new courier service https://www.collectplus.co.uk/. Had a few beers. Read this thread. Found this band: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feUtGQho3oA"]Donna The Buffalo - Locket And Key - YouTube http://www.cityofrochester.gov/bandsonbricks/ Tapped my toe. Obviosly other events occurred, too.
Sounds nice. How old is Sophia again? Well, Dan's actually off tonight and both him and Case are napping now so gonna see what we're gonna do tonight when he gets up. Dunno if we're gonna go to that show or maybe just head to a park for a while.
She's 4. I always say school, but I just mean pre-school. We're not going to Peace Valley anymore though, it's a shame because it's so nice outside, but I'll go for a walk with Sophia and maybe get something to eat until my friend gets back.
Me, Sophia and my son Jack came *this* close to beating Mega Man 6, I got to the second round of 4 stages after defeating Dr Wily the first time, and got stuck on the 3rd (read=7th) stage. It's too bad too because if only I had not lost the patience I could have beaten the entire game. The boss on end-game stage 2 was fucking ridiculous, it's like a thing climbing on the right wall that shoots side ways and down at you, all the while meteors are bombarding you and you can only hit the boss in the tiniest spot where it's 'eye' is exposed, and it's the exact size of one of your regular shots. We also beat all the bosses on Mega Man 4, 5 and all but 2 bosses on 3. Look at this, and tell me this isn't the most insane shit you've ever seen in your life? I can't believe I beat it, and I did it with just the regular blaster ('sup?). I died like 8 times though trying to memorize the patterns of the falling objects and blast jawns. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGqFs6YRfPQ"]Mega Man 6 Power Piston - YouTube
I went to a fish fry on Friday and ate local perch and pickerel. I got a little drunk at the campfire. Saturday, I finished report cards and went over to my friend's house for drinks. Sunday I went to church with mom (zomg) and ran errands. I hung out with some old folks from my apartment building and they pressured me into going into a Walmart with them. They didn't buy anything though... we just looked at crap.
