I read about a beautiful example. Imagine Darkness. When it is totally dark, you do not see anything. You do not know what is there. This is Ignorance If it is partially dark, you see a game of shadows. This is illusion. Alternatively, if it is partially dark, you might doubt if it is the same thing, as it appears to you, or is it something different. This is confusion. When the sun rises, all darkness is gone, and clearly you can see what’s there. Morale: Truth is beyond Ignorance, illusion and confusion, and with knowledge you can perceive the truth. What I liked about this example is- the three divisions- Ignorance, Illusion and Confusion. Theoretically, what lies beyond these three, is the truth. Right?
and yet you can still stub your toe. suggesting that our perceptions are not the only thing that is there. (but not suggesting any of the endlessly embellished speculations called religions, about what those something else's might be)
I agree.. give this a watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Q5ma2wgzfk"]Spiritual Path: Why people fall off or do not take up the spiritual path? - YouTube
Fuck stupid analogies for abstracts like, truth, knowledge, reality, and so on. Those are nonthings and have no reality, nor realism. You're wasting your time studying platitudes. Live your life. Nobody has a smidgen of wisdom before they are middle aged, regardless of their studying. Study of wisdom is the feltching of people who had no talent beside flipping their lid. (Eastern wisdom is different). The is no wisdom in the West. Or the MidEast. The whole mideast and west are so stupid that they neded to name their religious tract 'The Book,' just in fucking case someone mistook it for a second book in the house.
