Westboro showed up and was denied a permit to protest, they did anyway. Then they got arrested for not having a permit. It wouldn't have done them any good they crowds were huge and they were blocked from view by the crowd.
Veteran professional storm chaser, son, and another chaser dead. Tornado made an unexpected turn toward them. They weren't hot-doggers. Am I the only one wondering why a public school where kids go doesn't have some type of tornado shelter when Oklahoma has an average of around 64 tornadoes per year?
The more recent El Reno storm that killed the three professional storm chasers is said to have been about 2.6 miles wide and an EF5.
