whats th most acid ou have done at once. how many times?

but theres a HUGE and i mean HUUUUGGGGEEEE difference in a psycholytic dose and a psychedelic dose

i did lsd several times with distorted perceptions before i really tripped.. once i did, I saw how huge the difference is..


you can call a psycholytic experience a trip of course...

but once you have a true psychedelic experience you'll never call your previous experiences truly 'tripping' i mean they still are a form of tripping.. just no where near a psychedelic trip...

psychedelic doses almost always cuases full or close to full ego-loss without you having much of a choice...

psycholytic doses almost always dont induce a full ego-loss unless the user strives for it and makes a large effort to reach it...

i mean its all called tripping i suppose.. but maybe it woulda been better if originally people used a lil more detail in the naming lol.. like "psycholytic trip" and "psychedelic trip" to describe them instead of mixing them all into just 'trip'.. tho i have had some pretty crazy psycholytic experiences but none compared to the psychedelic.. especially on a mystic spiritual level...

 

The most i took was seven hits at once. and man that was awesome i cant imagine 10 or more. it was a few years ago like back in the mid 90's i was watching an aerosmith vid when i peaked and wow i cant really put into words how that was but it was really cool. and as far as the total amount, id say it was something in the area of 300-350 hits maybe more i cant really keep track it isnt like i was going for a record, i just really liked to trip and i had easy access to it. later,Joe

I one took 27 dancing skeletons. It started out as a 10 strip but then I was told that the cops were coming and I ate the rest. Quite a good time too because thankfully the cops werent coming. I do not remember much else except many many colors. I could hear my friends and knew reality, but I could only see in colors and they were vivid. Like seeing every fiber in someones skin. I didnt come down completely for 3 days but that is mostly because I was so in love with nature and the vividness that I could see that I chose not to sleep.

 

LostChord nailed it. There's a qualitative difference between psycholytic and psychedelic doses. And, while I can describe fairly easily what occurs when on sub-psychedelic levels (minor trails, enhanced senses, etc.) it's not possible for me to convey the dissolution of the ego, the absense of dualism (self/other), and that sense of panic that happens just before the Sacrament takes you away. Maybe I'd say, that if one is not changed by the experience, one hasn't "tripped." Even that statement can't really convey what I mean; I was not the same person 12 hours after my first time with LSD in 1969. The universe changed. It all fades with time, of course, but there's always that memory of the change.

LSD is a trigger; take it again the next day and nothing. For me it took about 5 or 6 days for the brain chemistry to return to normal, so the trigger could work again. That's universal. So excuse me if I have doubts about people claiming to have tripped thousands of times; it just sounds like typical macho dick-waving.

 

i was at lollapalooza 93 at buckeye lake. the boy i was "dating" at the time didnt have a ticket so he stayed out in the parking lot. i was inside the show for about 2 hours and he showed up inside. He was blitzed out of his head on acid and he wanted to show me what he'd sccored in the lot. he'd asked evryone to dose him (many of whom did) and he started flippin and switchin workin his way tradin up and up . so by the end of the 2 hours he got in and we were sittin there and he was countin up his loot ( - and I was a fiend in the day "wheres my dose man wheres my dose?". 2 tickets, new tour shirt, "wheres my dose man wheres my dose?" bag of nugs, 4 sheets (3 different kinds), some other shit wadded up. who knows... so he turns around and hands me this torn piece of red construction paper (about 2 in by 3 in) with blotchy stains on it. so, me in my infinite wisdom eat it. i figured it was the reject dose that was some weird homemade weak shit. there was no perf. no lines. just regular construction paper with funky blotches. i munched.
he turned around and asked "ok now wheres that sheet I handed you?"
um what? what?!?!

1st couple of times.. i didnt really change.. except my curiosity increased i supposed... but shit march 8th was the end of my previous life.. reborn with completly different thought processes and patterns... I cant really even remember what it used to be like before the 8th.. except that it was no where near how thinking I now...it wasnt really even thinking i suppose..

man this forum is getting me excited! I have done cid like four times, and the most was 3 hits, of liquid on candy. Don't know how much mcg's it was, but i tripped for like 10 hours. Mountains were walking around and skulls and skeltons were flying out at the sky at me. I felt the surge of power, more then i thought possible and was getting some intense autitory hallucinations. All the trees turned into walking ents on lord of the rings and were all alive. And had the craziest closed eyed visuals. I was litterally flying through galaxy's. This changed my life and will always remember it. I dont think i yet got a full on acid trip yet though. I want to fry hard one of these days and feel the power of acid. I have shroomed plenty of times and shrooms still seem more intense. eating like 7 dry grms and 2-3 grams of syrian rue. Whats a dose of acid when you know your frying hard? I was thinking above 500mcg?

oh yeah have any of you tried 2ci? it reminded me of acid with all the grids and such. You old hippies need to try that. That chemical changed my life I ate 30mg and was so fucked up I couldn't see straight because everything was melting and everything turned to liquid. I also notice my head tilts back alot when I start frying on acid. I walk wierd to kind of like how jim morrison walks kinda funny. That's why people come up with all these myths about cid.

 

sounds like you've already broken through to where most people dont even get... and pretty much around 500 you'll go through full and total ego-death.. not exactly something someone should do without preperation and experience related to it.. but the fact that you mention CEVs and flying through galaxies..and experience with mushrooms, that makes it seem like you probably got a pretty good idea with whats going on and what happens...

I myself have had a decent number of intense psychedelic experiences, but only once have I been on a really heavy psychedelic dose..i dont know how I made it out of that lol, and why i lost the flow...but i know i'm not ready for a full really high dosage (but I was thinking more around the 750-800ug range) but I'm yet to find the appropriate person I want to be there for me...and I still would like to do a lot more research and a lot more reading....plus the more i learn the more curious I get which i find makes experiences way better

Yeah i agree with the money thing. Have any of you noticed that weed is pretty powerful shit right after you do any psychdelic? The next day or two days afterwards I do a fullblown hallucingenic experience and I smoke weed it brings that experience right back! I call weed "the deju vu" drug.

right after i started doing acid weekly.. whenever I would smoke weed alone (which I did more often becuase it was great to think..) or with friends I would get open eye visuals, especially at night or in the dark, and even more so if I was in a part of my room or house where something intense happened... like laying in bed..or sitting on my couch in my room. I would also get shit load of closed eye visuals.. depending on how much I smoked it might just be some faint visuals, or just flashes of blurry things for split seconds.. but if i was really gone.. usually from a bong or a blunt, I would get full crystal clear better then physical eyesight life, sometimes just still images.. sometimes moving... and then those all so fun interactive ones..... I tried to explain it to my friends but they had no idea what I was talking about..theyve done shrooms probably as many times as Ive done acid and they dont know what closed eye visuals are except for what the name implies...but they;ve 'never' had them.. but then again I cant see how i'd be if I tripped on shrooms blasting rap music the whole time... just not me i guess lol

Yeah closed eye visuals are my favorite. Many people only appreciate with there eyes open. But I love tripping in a room pitch black and quiet. That's when you trip the hardest everyone should try.
