or did this place, RT in particular, lose several points on the IQ scale lately?

And gained more points on the creep/rapist scale..

 

Some of the posts are a bit strange . There are other forums/boards more in to science /tec.

It seems it's just become a trend lately to make parody threads and it's all in good fun. Everyone seems to be playing along and I guess those that aren't just don't understand or appreciate that type of humor. That's all.
Satire does require intelligence, though it may seem dull on the surface.

 

Also, it's not fair to have high expectations for a 'random thoughts' forum. I thought anything goes here..any type of thought- mindless or thought provoking.

All throughout hipforums or just on random thoughts? I see a lot of great discussions going on in some of the other forums. It's good to branch out..
Random thoughts seems to be the most popular forum though for some reason. I really wish some of the other forums were just as popular.

 

Go read about Feminism in Politics. That thread is all over the place. I'm sure you'll feel -30 IQ by the time you're through.

There's been an insistence lately on soldering directly to lithium batteries, which hasn't helped the IQ any.

 

No, it's not just you. It never is.

I don't think there was that many points to take down to begin with.

 

I haven't seen much lately that has piqued my interest. But then again I haven't had many interesting thoughts myself, just stress. Which isn't cool to post about.

I will say, though, that when I log in and see 15 parody threads all on the same lame topic.. it makes me want to powder up my pimp hand.
