Hi, I'm Teniesha, by no means unfamiliar with the Hip Forums, but a new poster. I've decided to become active in the community because, in short, I'm extremely lonely. Basically, I'm just a 23-year-old girl who's trying to achieve her best life possible. I've suffered a lot of hardships in the past 4 years, and I've worked through a lot of psycho-spiritual muck to get where I am today, certainly much better and self-aware, but I've sort of hit a wall and need to confront some more BIG questions. I hope to perhaps find some insight here, and I also look forward to getting to know more of you from here on out and making new friends with whom I can share my many interests--because in real life, I don't have really anyone. As for those said interests, I love everything to do with the 1960's-1970's, vintage fashion, thrifting, DIY projects, visual arts, cooking, fitness, yoga, reading, writing poetry, children's literature, illustration, mycology & paleontology, collecting old vinyl and listening to weird, old music, and, oh, so, so, so much more. It's sometimes quite overwhelming to have so many passions! So, if you'd like to add me and get to know me better, I'd be very happy to meet you, too!
Greetings Teniesha! I hope you enjoy this wonderful forum! As for South Dakota? Hmmmm! Nope. The closest I've been to that would be Chicago. It would be nice to visit someday though!
Thanks so much, everyone! KL71--There's really not a lot to do in South Dakota, unfortunately, but if you do visit someday, definitely focus on the Black Hills--a gorgeous escape back to nature!
I'd love to visit the Black Hills and Mount Rushmore some day. Now back to the expensive reality that is the coffee stop between New York City and Boston.
Hello & Welcome, glad you found us. I'd like to see the black hills one day, but not the white eyes shrine carved into the hillside. I hope you find what you are searching for here on HF. Peaceful thoughts your way.... Farmout :-D
