    Waycool that he shares a birthday with Charles Darwin, & that guy whose profile is on the penny. Got to hear him play at a nightclub in Athens GA back when I was in college.

    I thought it was way cool to have to Doors playing during the heavy winds yesterday..
    Think, he could have been born on the 13th..

    I didnt notice Darwin, I have a calendar that tells of Artists birthdays and such and I double check it on wikipedia, look for other events.. Sometimes I forget. :(

    I was surprised when I heard this yesterday. Time marches on...

    In the 80's, while living in Hollywood, the guy responsible for my first lsd trip lived next door to a punk band named X. John Doe and Exene Cervenka were good friends of Ray, I got to shake his hand once when they threw a party and he attended, it's nice to get to tell people that their work meant something to you.

    There are people that leave a mark on the world. Ray and The Doors are one such example.
