""No Dejavu,"" responded thedope, "creation is extension simply. I said y-our lives are of indefinite proportions and not all things but none, but, all things but none in particular," ( all together, none alone or in isolation.) "Our lives are of indefinite proportions," a point reiterated by the echoing of the goblin's inquiry, "where's luckyme."
"The italics aren't helping" said Dejavu. "If you mean all, you say all in particular, not none in particular, nothing having no particulars. That or you could just say all" he laughed. "And you said we don't create ourselves when we do. All very confusing. It's as though you crave a first cause. I suggest a strong bout of carousing and general revelry. If there are any changes in your condition notify me at once." Dejavus career as a physician was taking off, that is to say he was taking off a physician. How else to help this metaphysician get back... er, get on track?
thedope thought maybe Dejavu instead of branching into medicine might practice teaching english until his students had demonstrated his success. Also thedope wondered why Dejavu thought it would be beneficial to him to get on the beatin' path. Could it be that thedope was able to go where Dejavu felt he could not, where that man had not gone before and that such a life journey had appeared sick to him through his doubt, something particularly vile as opposed to indefinitely proportioned? "Let us bow our backs then and attend the labor of legitimate conjugations. NONE IN PARTICULAR: He had no particular objection to the plan nor did he find any exceptional or special requiring particular care, none. one, two, three, four, all... together... now, alltogethernow, all... together ... now, alltogethernow... Words do not stand alone and a symbol for a thing is not the thing." said thedope.
"Not a beatin', but that you may be on your way, and not away from others, rather with, not that you aren't already... only everyone wants your loving sensation!" laughed Dejavu, knowing thedope would give love condition, no matter how badly the stethoscope was strangulating him.
thedope was cluless as to where Dejavu thought he might be. "What other way is there except our way," asked thedope. "As if I could choose to be away from myself. When I come to a fork in the road I am not left or right of myself and am faced with a single choice, mine."
The little mouse laughs as she reads what's been said, and what not. "How right," she says and her minds drifts off. Shaking her head she smiles listening to the sounds coming from the kitchen. "Yes, sometimes two paths not only cross but become one."
thedope took this opportunity to note, "Whereas Dejavu's expression was not prohibited by the english language, his accuracy suffered from insufficient sampling and it was a barrier to his perception of how integral he is to every sense of our being," and to pose the question rhetorically, "where could we ever have free agency except in relationship?"
She smiles reading this. "Sometimes life takes on a very definite proportion and must be dealt with in equal measures." The little mouse nibbles on the treat offered glad to be back in proportion and ready to continue on the road to ... She blinks and watches the future unfurl under influence of the warm winds of pleasure which blew her mind and reshaped what she imagined had been carved in stone. "yes, change," she says.
"Now that's a better question!" he laughed, not knowing the answer. "Why love is condition through and through..." If thedope wanted Dejavu to 'sample' everyone though, he'd have to go on wanting. He then looked at lucky. "Welcome back little mouse!" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qI-_4Xx9KXo"]Fallout - Love Me - YouTube
"Indeed humans are conditioned from birth to love and be loved," the little mouse agrees. "... but when conditioning becomes a burden and suffocates the self, weighs it down, restricts the free agent it is an affliction, an addiction which must be satisfied." She sips her fourth coffee and still can't see reason to rhyme. "One vision to see it all, a feat none can ever hope to ascertain and yet humans seek it ever and again. Love you say?" She shakes her head and laughs, "... a condition of the mind, an ailment I gladly suffer from and carefully nourish for it to grow like nature and nurture conditioned me to."
"Well," laughed Dejavu, "everything is condition, is existence. Call your lifes height what you like!"
"Specific conditions being forever transiently incidental," plied thedope. "The world is inherently silent in terms of conditional requests be it shit, piss, vomit, or blood that is spilled upon it, it does not recoil in horror but turns it in again timelessly unto itself."
"High and higher still." The little mouse sits on the sofa enjoying her coffee. "Yes, love and life, highs of nature and nurture, conditions of the mind brought upon humans of their own volition. Humans want the highs but need the lows. How else know a high when one has never been low?" She laughs for highs are dangerous places. Humans and all creatures alike might never want to come down leading to behaviour which brings them down. For high cannot endure without falling down at some point."
thedope thought it fascinating that the little mouse could gain such proportional perspective from her most off, at least in the live times that are written, sipping squat or horizontal position. Not to suggest in any sense that mice are not consummately agile when they are on the move but oh the fancy flying far flinging fruit of free flowing albeit sedimental imagination, fascinates fabricating a facade of fahrenheit. "Where is high and low on the map of the globe?," wondered thedope. thedope saw creaturehood as more of metabolic than a parabolic curve. "Mostly in the troposphere we deal with temperate things and high and low are relative effects of gravity. Too hot, very hot, hot, warm, just right, cooling, cooler, coolest, et all approaching fucking frigid. We might have been tempted to say fuck it if we hadn't found our fire."
"Need the lows to know a high?! You can know a high by getting higher you know! Without being low to begin with! What do you mean by saying high cannot endure without falling down?!" laughed Dejavu, who, like Icarus, had no thought for what might be too high. "It is not the sun of our knowledge that threatens to bring us down, but in reaching for its reflection in the sea!"
"Reaching beyond your reach you mean?" The little mouse laughs as she reaches for her coffee on the table just beyond her grasp. Leaning a little further, steadying herself with one hand while balancing. "If one can manage to reach just a little further one need not go higher. Higher, further, lower, closer. All words to express one wants what one does not have. Covet, want, and we're full circle back to lust. Isn't human nature prone to it? To lust after what one does not have? Doesn't that make for the overreaching, the flight into highs one cannot sustain? To go where no one has gone before. To be the only one, the first one, the special one ..." The little mouse smiles as she is the only one who needs no more highs to know the one.
"The one what?!" asked Dejavu laughing. "Yes, reaching beyond our reach is our overreaching, yet we'll all reach eachother one day if we can reach ourselves in knowing we want to!" Dejavu loved telling his hopes in this way, giving them condition, offering them even to lust, knowing hope itself had a hold of them. "Is it a paradox that we'll never be able to go where no-one's gone before if we don't do it together?" he said, smiling.
I don't think so," interjected thedope, "the thought of going comes first, then we share our thought."
"But if one knows one is the dreamer doesn't that imply one knows to be the sleeper?" The little mouse laughs and pulls the duvet up. "To dream one must be unsatisfied with what one has while awake. But then again all humans dream, whether it be awake or as a sleeper. They need the dream to hold on to their hopes. And aren't hopes and dreams locked together? Does hope fuel the dream, or does the dream allow for hope to grow into expectation?" She smiles as she sees her dream come true.
