First of all, I've seen a lot of beautiful dready mamas on here, hopefully you're enjoying this day! This has been a unique Mother's day... my sister passed away 3 1/2 weeks ago, she was 23. So I decided today to take my Mom out to the creek trails today and take her for a walk to get her mind off everything, which turned into a beautiful day! She snapped some pics of my dreads, so I thought I'd finally start a timeline. Backcombed to start, and haven't done anything but rip them apart since. Washing every few days with a sea salt shampoo bar. Before picture First week At sister's funeral, around a month ago... Today, 2 1/2 months! They're insane, I love them! Shrunk soooo much Good vibes to you all
Looking good, loving the loopys. So much progress for 2 1/2 months XD can't wait to see how they mature.
I think I am at about 9 months now. I can't wait til my 1 yr mark and actually see the difference. I honestly wouldn't recommend putting in beads on such young dreads as they might get sucked in...I had a sleeve I stitched together that got sucked in, I had to cut it out
wow! that is a mighty fine amount progress for 2 1/2 months! can't wait to see how they change as they grow, free forming ones go through so much evolution I've had some beads in for at least 8 months, and they're definitely stuck, but i don't mind haha, I'm a committed person
And also, you look so...American! you've got that whole unnaturally good skin and teeth thing going on, you people weird me out
Hahaha cracked me up with that one. But jokes on you, I am not from this planet. I put 2 or 3 beads on the biggest loops to try to get them to lie low for a few days, I work at an elementary school and summers in 1 week, just need to keep em in till then
People often accuse me of not being from this planet...hmm... Not what I'd consider neat dreads but they're looking awesome! try some raps for that purpose it works much better
