I started this pair of jeans...umm about 4 years ago. (yes they still fit. ) And they are covered in random pieces of fabric and quotes and designs. I love them! They are soo hard to sew cuz the jeans dont fit in my sewing machine so its all done by hand. I am so close to finishing! I will post pictures the moment they are done!
THat's the only way I sew... by hand. Takes time, but it's theriputic, me thinks. Can't wait to see the end result.
i enjoy my machine, but hand sewing is where i go my start and where i still go back and find a lot of peace.
I am having a really hard time with my sewing machine with the patches the and I dont have the patients for the skills to sew them by hand.
i think hand sewing injects good vibes into a piece. i'm getting much faster at it, but it still takes forever. i can't do denim with my sewing machine though, it groans every time i try.
My machine is good.. but it is just really to small for the entire pair of pants... plus I think I am starting to grow out of those jeans (Stupid hips) so I think I am going to start a new pair.. OR just make a pair of patch pants without the jeans
