Well, my kidneys are finally on the verge of packing it in. My doctor has suggested that it is time to start home dialysis - peritoneal dialysis. I live more than an hour away from the nearest clinic, so the home dialysis would be the best choice for me. So the reason I'm posting here, is that I am wondering if there is anyone here who may be in the same situation as me. It would be great to get some advice from someone's personal experience. PAX
no advice yet-I don't know if that's good or bad but I do know I don't wish this on anybody. I'm not on the transplant list yet but hopefully that will happen in the near future. But I have started the procedure: I got a catheter surgically installed last Thursday and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as I thought it was going to be. I guess I'll just keep on truckin along! PAX
