One of my uncles buddies just looked at my face, saw my medusa and nose ring, and he asked "so why do people decide to get facial piercings? Why did you?" The question sounded easy to answer but I found myself speechless at first. I thought to myself..cuz I like it, cuz I wanted to...but I couldn't find an actual reason. I guess I don't have a reason lol, what are your guys resons for getting piercings?
I don't have any, but most people just do it out of rebellion. If not it's also to draw people away from a particular part of their face they don't like. But I just like it because it looks cool
I just thought of another reason. I like to express myself, and my chosen piercings in my opinion look beautiful on my face.
It's strange isn't it? I have no idea why I have most of my piercings haha. I dunno. I think body modification is beautiful, and I love the excitement and thrill of getting a new piercing. They also are just generally a cool thing to have :}
My lip piercing was very special to me and I still treasure it very much. I have a younger sister who always seems to get things that I had to wait for, earlier than me. For example I had to be seventeen to go to parties with alcohol, she's just turned 15 and she's allowed to go to them. Silly little things like that, she gets to do what she wants really. My lip piercing was the first thing that I was allowed to do and she wasn't. It sort of marked that I was older, and it felt pretty damn good.
I did it b/c I was young and thought I was the queen of cool, now I am in my 30's and could care less haha Although I still am a fan of tongue piercings. Some people do look cool with metal in their face though
I got my monroe at 15, I traded the piercer with crappy weed lol. I've always liked the look of that piercing, like you're pretty and feminine but also badass
I always wonder why more young people don't consider the fact that a facial piercing hurts their chances of getting a good job. You don't believe it's true?
