Individuality/separation is an illusion of the game. Not that long ago we realised our connectivity to the world around us and the cosmos. Out of fear and a desire for control, we have separated ourselves and let ourselves be brainwashed by the few who wish to keep us in our slavery. Open your mind, re-notice your permanent connection to your soul and you will get so much from it. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are separate yet completely connected in a single grand consciousness. You confuse consciousness with ego.
What you experience is a reflection of your state of mind. You can bring more into your life if you choose it, or you can isolate yourself - it is entirely your choice as it is your experience. I've just learnt that opening myself up to see the good in those around me has had a wonderfully positive influence on my life. Reducing my worries, not dwelling on the past or constantly waiting on the future. Learning to appreciate the now, the only instant that truly exists. I only came to this state of being through a spiritual awakening. I have experienced things beyond my own individual brain, I now attribute it to being within a single consciousness - within the mind of God. It still feels a little weird for me to invoke that name, however it is an appropriate term. But yes - the specific ego you are experiencing at the present moment is only a small part of your greater self. Experiecially, I know without a doubt that we are a lot more than we (generally, as a species) believe we have access to. I've had first hand experience of both telepathy and telekinesis. I've been lucky enough to walk with a couple of deities. It's amazing what we have to experience in our futures... I'm looking forward to it... but fundamentally this experience we are having now is important so we should make the most of it. I think part of this experience is to realise your spirituality... to learn, to connect and to teach. But... if you are happy where you are, experiencing your existence as you do now - that is perfectly ok - that is entirely your choice. This ego is moulded by life experience, yes... by the choices we make. Outside of this experience, time does not exist. All of our possible paths are already mapped out for us... like an incredibly complicated chandelier. That does not mean we do not have free will, quite the opposite... at every branch we have the choice of which to take. Sure, there may be a primary preferred option... what some may call destiny... but no-one is forced to fulfill it... we all have choice in this universe. On the one hand I've also been thinking, perhaps we have already made all of our choices... and we're just following them in the process of understanding them. Either way, existence is amazing... and far more complicated and wholly connected than much of mainstream belief would have us understand. Even mainstream religions... a lot teach that we are disconnected and need to earn or learn our way back... not so, we're all connected always - most just haven't learnt to notice it.
Perhaps another way to point this direction; examine consciousness from which it arises and the illusion in separation it causes, the body will age get sick and die therefore it makes sense that along with this happening the mind and consciousness will subside…it’s an unreal temporal condition in human existence a byproduct of so called absolute awareness.
. it's all life connected . relative to that , human-centric conciousness is an insanity . that's why crazy people who bark like dogs are ok . what of those who dress , terrorize and kill like govt soldiers ? i think they act out an already demented social philosophy : exclusive humanism .
No doubt this and other post you’ve written indicate an interest and innate instinct in spirituality/truth, the way I see and point towards the Yoga’s (Karma, Jnana, Bhakti, Raja), the act of Yoga; bringing oneself in union from that which one has never been separate deprograming the mind, allowing expansion of consciousness, ultimately the waves of the mind become still so that one can experience directly the pure awareness that lies beyond the mind in an effort to come to a closer understanding of one’s true inner nature.
Beyond the veils of Maya unity is…Advaita Vedanta is a beneficial pointer in this truth, however unless one experiences directly it becomes another belief programmed into the mind.
i think the direct experience to be naturally ordinarily exquisite , always new and interesting . a complete understanding is not necessary . belief can synthesize complete understanding . belief might pre-determine any understanding . belief might deny the experience . or a belief that all life speaks could at least ease the mind when lost in the crazy mountains . oh , raven , where may i nest and rest ? follow me , she replies . we are now experienced .
Clarity is obstructed by the veils of Maya (illusions cloaked in beliefs) that which tightens the shackles of bondage holding one in a deep sleep, continue the dream or wake up.
are we somehow connected mentally ? musically ? dream it or dance it , it's easy , say the little bird .
