You seem to think that you’re “above” the game. The reality is that everyone has to play the game. No one is above it (not even you ). This isn’t animal planet where guys are like male lions and just walk up to, mount, and fuck any lioness they want simply because she's there. You have to play the game, do the dance, go through the motions, etc., etc… the only way you usurp the game is by using prostitutes. If you were such the sex/relationship "guru" you claim to be... seems to me that you'd know this and not have such a warped sense of reality.

 

As of right now I would say I wouldnt, but if I would find a love so strong that it would make me not care that she is an escort, I would consider myself lucky and I would go for it.

 

My opinion about this: nobody is above the game indeed, but once you conclude what the game exactly is and why we would play it we can still decide not to play the game. This does not mean a person is above it or immune to the bullshit in any way, it merely means you stop playing yourself.

Why do people have to play the game? Only if they care to claim the rewards (which includes status, multiple 'conquests' etc.). So people can take it or leave it any time if they've figured it out it's not for them. Using prostitutes is the only way? Perhaps for people who can't play the game but still want to. I'm not sure. I am sure however that having sex with prostitutes is not the only way to leave the game and bullshit behind.

That's BS. You guys hear the word game and automatically associate it with bad, negative, or “bullshit” as you put it. You’ve boxed the meaning of the term “game” into this narrow definition of something “players” master and utilize as a means to take advantage of, manipulate, and conquest others sexually. It’s like saying dunking is basketball. Dunking is basketball, but basketball is so much more than just dunking.

Lots of species partake in what we would call the mating game. It’s not just humans. Be it good or bad, like it or not, that’s just the way it is. You think you can consciously decide to just not play the game, but you can’t. The game involves everything related to the hookup; from the most obvious to the most seemingly insignificant. You play the game whether you like it or not, whether you realize you’re doing it or not. Consciously deciding not to play manipulative "games" does not take you out of “THE GAME”.

 

I thought that was rather obvious but good you narrowed it down then I (and as I read it Writer as well) was not talking about the mating game in general, we were focussing about the bullshit game that to be fair rules the human mating game.

 

And that’s simply an incorrect assumption on both of your parts. The overall mating game is just as prevalent as the redefined portion of the “game” that you so much dislike. They both coincide together, and one cannot exist without the other. The fact that you think a lot of people are assholes with regards to how they choose play the game, does not make the game itself an evil entity, nor is it something you can avoid in whole or in part.

I can accept and respect that. Nothing wrong with choosing to be honest/ethical in your ways, and trying to avoid others who refuse to do the same. Though you will in fact "die trying" if your goal is to avoid that form of the game entirely .
