I just got my wisdom teeth out at 8 am this morning and i got home and took a vicodin they prescribed me at 12 pm. Its now 1 pm and i'm in excruciating pain. I really cannot understand why painkillers are called painkillers. I dont feel a single ounce of difference in my body. Anyways the stupid bottle says take 1 every 4 hours. Does anyone know if i can just go ahead and take another one now? if no bad side effects will happen or anything, cause god damn my mouth fuckin hurting so bad right now haha I wish i coudl go ahead jsut swallow liek 3 down right now, maybe then i might actually feel something
okay so i took another one about 30 minutes ago but this was after i just had a milk shake. The pain is somewhat verry little going away but i think thats from the cold milkshake. Anyways my point is, no offense but to all the millions of people out there addicted to painkillers and all those pills, you have to be fuckin retarded or something. These things barely even work and are nowhere near being addictive. Like seriously all these fuckin painkillers should be banned and weed needs to be medicinally legalized NATIONWIDE. Weed is 100 times better and than these pills and no harmful side effects. All i need is about 1-2 bong hits to take mild pain away. I can't wait to move to a medical state soon.
The novacain (sp?) wore off and the pain hit hard. It wont hurt to take two if they are 5/325 or 5/500 vicodin. I have a script fot them and i can take 1-2 every 4-6 hours as needed. Just watch out that they didnt give you 7.5/500's, Thats like taking three lower grade ones so you will have to take one and half. If 10/600 id break it in half before you take it. Gets in your system faster. Im no doc so just my opinion on the matter, But two 5/500mg vicodin wont hurt in the least.
I agree with le Tuna actually when the Novocaine wore off it made the pain hit hard and when your pain is that extreme it takes more to help. The doc will tell you not to let your pain get so extreme because then the medicine doesn't work as well..
I have never got addicted to pain killers but me personally, I like vicodin. One time me and my buddy were traveling and he had to stop at the doctors to get his prescription for the shit. He offered to let me try it cuz for some people it makes you feel high. It was kinda dumb but I was like why not and took a pill when he took one as well. Over 30 minutes later him and I both felt "fuzzy" and wanted to touch our own faces with our hands. It felt good to touch/itch for some reason, and I remember feeling a bit out of it too. I think drugs effect every person differently, some work for some people and others don't do shit. I totally agree weed needs to be legalized cuz it works wonders for pain and it doesn't have harmful side effects like pain killers do. Just understand that just because a pain killer didn't do shit for you, doesn't mean it isn't effective or addictive to others. Each drug effects each person differently.
