Wise words you speak, Vivian. Even those not perceived as being so wise by some. I take off my hat to you. Will there ever be a new messiah standing up between here and say, another 46 years, I bet ten... eleven cents and a year-old peppermint on that it's gonna be you.

With the benefit of hindsight I declare my username to be about this here Prophet - Hail to king Templedragon ( and Eris ( or she'll get batty ) )!

By the way, bearded men called Vivian, that's just plain secksay.

If I overreact, just kick me in the arse or something.

dood you are loopy on toner fumes, lol. FYI" Vivian is a european name, sometimes spelled Vivien with doods, sometimes spelled vivienne for sisters. I am of Irish hetitage.

If I was the messiah that would be a very sorry thing indeed. I am much more "mess" than "iah". But I appreciate the words...I think...maybe...?

This thread is gettin pretty old and feeble, maybe it is time to render it unto the graveyard of threads. Not quite sure yet.

Well, Viv, I wouldn't stop spreading cheer just becuase one encounters a heckler from time to time. If you drive alot, you encounter potholes. Sooner or later, the potholes are filled in, becoming irrelevant. Usually (but no gaurantees) the children grow up, and once in a blue moon, they even realize how amazingly childish their behavior was. One can only hope for such an epiphany to occur.

I recall that I was protesting against the war (even while I had a step-brother there) and had first dropped two years earlier than the tender age of 17. I'd read Huxley, Hermann Hesse, Leary, etc. and was becoming familiar with the Vedic texts. Such a pity that so many today who are the equivalent age just don't have any clue of what the Movement was all about. All they can do is post drivel on the net and take whatever their little buds give them. Such a waste. Most of them will, I'm afraid, grow up to be the pencil-dicked self-absorbed unconscious backsliders that their 30-something parents became. The Sixties are over, and the forces of darkness won. If you don't think so, take a real hard look at the teenagers in your life. They're happily pounding nails into digger Hippie's coffin, whilst staring at themselves in the fun-house mirror telling themselves they are the vanguard.

    Right on.
