Anyone from Manchester? Read This:

I wonder if this story could a) spread beyond just Manchester or even beyond the UK, and b) apply to barefooters? Could we be considered an alternative sub-culture like goths or punks? And would refusal of service, etc. count, or is it only protection against violent attacks?

 

We're just hippies, barefoot or not we've had our fair share of abuse over the years.

Besides I'm also a Traveller and that gets me the special kind of hatred the Police, County Councils and Middle-England are best at.

Laws, legislation..... if someone doesnt like the way you live they'll let you know one way or another. Best to just stay under the radar, associate with the enlightened and be compassionate to the haters
