A few years back, me and my girl were at the largest city park in the area, a bit after dark. Decided to go at it on a picnic table, maybe a couple hundred feet from a parking area, no one around. She was in a skirt, me in shorts, so it didn't take any real undressing. Fooled around a bit, went down on each other for a bit, then went at it with her on the table. A few minutes into it, park rangers had snuck up to the edge of the parking area, unbeknownst to us, turned on their light and got on the PA telling us we had to go, the park was closed.
They just turned and drove off slowly while we pulled up/down clothing and booked it out of there, laughing the whole time.

More recently I had some "teen-age" fun in a car with a fwb that I'm fond of. We pretty much did it all, parked quietly on a neighborhood street overlooking the beach. Every once in awhile people out for a walk would stroll past, but I don't think anyone knew what was going on.

It's been my experience that if you're not in some crazy conservative area, and not way too far out there, getting caught doesn't amount to anything serious, just some excitement.
Getting a bj on main street at noon time might turn into something, but for the most part I've never heard of anyone I know having serious repercussions from "discreet" public sex.

And you're right. Getting caught, whether by people or authorities, is not a terrible thing. They probably totally get it (and partly envy it too).

Doesn't feel gutsy, it's just good ole american fun, people been having sex outdoors forever.
People get down on 'authorities' but mostly they're just looking to protect public safety. Except for the odd power-trip type. When it's just two people messin around, they tend to just move you along.
