Not all women, men and relationships are the same! I always read on this forum how they are though. It is no wonder that so many people can't find what they really want when they go through life with such close minded views on what another person is going to be like or how a good relationship has to be. If I would have gone into my current relationship judging my lady based on my experiences with others in the past it would have not grown into the best thing I have experienced with another person. She is nothing like how I see women being talked about on here and I am nothing like men are talked about on here. We are both just us.
I agree, everyone reads about what relationships "should" be like but if two people connect on the same level then why bother trying to be like the "norm"
At the initial phases of meeting and building a relationship, all sorts of bad habits and patterns creep in. The biggest challenge for me is to not let myself fall into them. I don't think people want to admit that the first problem is them. It's critical to not be biased from past experiences. Each new person deserves a chance to be assessed without distortions.
