Has anyone ever made cold weather wrap pants? I have a few pairs of light cotton thai fisherman style that I LOVE but now that winter is here I can't wear them easily.

I'm thinking of trying to make a fleece or heavy cotton pants but I'm not sure if they will fold properly? I would love to make some badass corduroy patchwork pants too but my sewing machine died and I'm pretty sure that would take me all winter to make that by hand. Plus those are harder to make unisex, so that both my husband and I can share.

Any suggestions? I'm looking for something that will carry me through to month 6th of pregnancy, and also I can share with my husband. Yes, I am making some hard demands.

A thin tactical fabric/fleece, or even suiting wools should work.
One option is to use a heavier fabric on legs and slightly thinner on the folding panel. (I'm looking at my fave pair. They have a multi-piece construction)

I wear leggings under mine through fall.

Well you must look for some stretching pants and rather taking stress by making by yourself purchase new ones available on online shopping sites or nearby stores that specifically sell pregnancy related material.

Maybe you should wear something under them, if you want to keep warm. And they of course must be stretchy, it's obvious.
