One might attribute last night's anger releases to post Holiday Madness Syndrome if the releases were truly freak phenomena... ...Key phrase being "freak phenomena".
yeah, i was just looking at the red cross site, to find out how to donate money to the tsunami relief thing, and they have a whole page about how to deal with anger...it's good reading. http://www.redcross.ca/article.asp?id=000511&tid=030
The International Federation of Turkey Bowlers only permits frozen turkeys. You'll have to take it up with the board marie if you want live ones on your team.
how are you going to bowl a live turkey? are you thinking the turkeys should just run down the lane and charge the pins and knock them over?
I gotta chime in here in support of peaceful Jef. Everything he said rang pretty true. And since i don't get online enough to read the replies to this message, I'm gonna be really blunt (not hurtful, just giving voice). Seams to me alot of the people that are very melloow and cool with the world arround them have found ways to emotionally or socially isolate temselves from all of the crap. Remove any emotional connection you have too the state of the world as a whole and it is very easy to be cool and kind all the time. Not that itis universal, but one of the first thoughts that crosses my mind when some one starts talking about people being to angry, is that that they don't care and aren't interested in the source of that anger. OK, flipside of that- I few years ago I used to follow the news very closely, hunted down obscure stories, followed my alternaive news sources and got horribly angry at a whole bunch of things that were going on in the world. All this shit I was learning about was tearing me up and I had a huge desire to lash out, just tons of anger and no where to point it. I had to back off. Junked my TV, stoppped following the news al together. Now the only current events I read about are ones that I go out and look for. I'm still angry about things, but they tend to be local things in my life that I am capable of effecing. Damn, I'm outta time at the library. Gotta go. Peace, Love, Out.
